JUST ONE BLOOD

Timmy K MacNicol - PRODUCER


Timmy K is founder and CEO of a Film Production Company, Timmy K Film Production Ltd formerly known as Fantasy Communications Ltd, launched in Nigeria and Ghana in 2008. After moving to the UK in 2012, Timmy K expanded her movie industry publishing business and set up her own movie production company. Just One Blood is the company’s first production, she acted in the movie and play the role of Ebere, she also the Producer / Executive Producer of the movie
“Just One Blood is my first movie, and I am so proud of it, but it doesn’t stop there! I have many more story ideas that I want to make into movies, and my next project will make the return journey, taking Suffolk into the heart of the Nigerian film industry!” reveals Timmy K MacNicol.

Teco Benson - DIRECTOR

The director of Just One Blood, Teco Benson, is a multi-award winning Nigerian director who has carved a niche for himself in the movie industry with his history of consistency, innovative themes, quality and attention to detail. He is patient, understanding, motivational – a real ‘actor’s director’.Teco Benson pioneered action film making in Nigeria, with films such as State of Emergency, Executive Crime, Terror, Formidable Force and War Front.

Teco Benson’s recent film, Accident, won the best Nigerian film at the 2014 African Movie Academy Awards. That same year he got a special recognition by the California Legislative Assembly for his film’s performance at the Silicon Valley African Film Festival. In late 2014, he was chosen, after a tough contest, to produce two commissioned short films, The Premonition and The Mirror for BBC Media Action.

He is the CEO of TFP Global Network, a film production outfit. He started his career in the early days of Nollywood – as the Nigerian powerhouse film industry is commonly known. He has evolved with the industry, and has had a huge impact on African cinema, as well as building a strong brand  “Teco Benson” that has become a household name not just in Nigeria but the world over. Today the story of the Nigerian film industry would not be complete without his name. In consideration of his contribution to the development of the Nigerian film industry, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria bestowed him with a national honour in 2011, known as Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR).

NICK WOOLGAR - FIRST ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

Nick is a freelance director, producer and editor. In 2017 he co-produced 2017 feature film The Haunted Hotel – like Just One Blood, also set and filmed in Suffolk, as well as a number of shorts and commercial projects. Nick is a director at FILM Suffolk, a grassroots organisation which encourages, assists and champions filmmaking and filmmakers in the English county of Suffolk and the wider East Anglia region.

Nick Woolgar was First Assistant Director for Just One Blood, responsible for running the set, making sure scenes were covered efficiently, and keeping the film running to schedule. He worked closely with director Teco Benson to plan the order in which scenes were to be shot, communicating with cast and crew to ensure everything ran smoothly

LAURENCE KINGSLEY SCOTT DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Since graduating from university in 2011, Laurence has worked across most departments of the film industry. In 2015, Laurence created Offset Films, a production company specialising in creative film making. More recently Laurence has been DOP for the 2017 film, The Haunted Hotel – – A compendium of eight ghost stories, all set within an abandoned hotel in Suffolk, as well as several short films. Laurence was proud to DOP for Just One Blood – working alongside renowned Nollywood director, Teco Benson.
